Across Letchworth and North Hertfordshire, groups and communities have come together to organise the Green Festival taking place in Letchworth on the 11th September 2021, 10am-5pm.
Learn about creating a sustainable future by asking yourself questions that can help contribute to a greener future.
There will be a variety of stalls and activities for you to see and join in The Wynd and The Arcade. There will be a talk about ‘Our Fragile Earth’ by Chris Nickolay and a story about climate change by Sam from Imajica Children’s Theatre. There’s something for all ages.
Architect Arjun Chopra, will talk about the ‘Retro-fitting on a Shoestring-Future Proofing the Fabric of Our Homes at 11am. This will be followed by Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation chief executive, Graham Fisher’s talk about ‘The Role of LGCHF in Environmentally Uncertain Times; How Letchworth Heritage Foundation is facing the future climate crisis’.
Presentations will be taking place at the Broadway Gallery Café throughout the day.
