The Letchworth open gardens are back again on the 27th of June with over 20 gardens available to visit across Letchworth. There are a variety of different gardens available to go and see that will cover every aspect of gardening. Along the way at various locations, there will be plant sales and refreshments for you to enjoy while you make your way around.
By purchasing your advance entry ticket, you will have entry to all the open gardens. You can obtain your ticket by clicking here — this will take you to the Garden House Hospice Care website where you will buy your ticket from, with the proceeds being split with the British Red Cross.
On your arrival to the first garden you visit, you will be asked to show proof of purchase. This can be on your mobile or printed out from your email receipt. You will then receive a full programme which allows you access to all of the gardens. A description of them all can be found here.
You can also purchase your ticket from David’s Bookshop (14 Eastcheap) or Bickerdikes Garden Centre (Norton) for £8.00 each. Tickets will be available at any open garden on the day of the event for £10.00 each. Accompanied children 16 and under have free entry.
A free park and ride bus service provided by St Christopher School and the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation will be available to travel between the gardens. Parking will be available between the Da Vinci Hall and Morrisons at the Heritage Foundation car park. Please click here for a map of the full bus route and parking.
