Created for the famous Spirella corset company, the ‘factory of beauty’ offered its employees facilities such as baths, showers, gymnastics classes, a library, free eye tests and bicycle repairs way ahead of their time.
Built in three stages between 1912 and 1920, this beautiful building, now Grade II* listed, offers a picturesque stop in the Garden City. Stroll in the shadow of this excellent example of Arts and Crafts architecture, with immaculately landscaped gardens and fountain.
Today, the Spirella Building has been lovingly restored to its former glory, housing modern office space, a café and fitness centre.
Its magnificent Ballroom hosts conferences, dances, wedding ceremonies and receptions.
