Transition Town Letchworth are a local group of volunteers who are working to build a more sustainable Letchworth.

We want today’s Letchworth to be a pioneer in tackling the biggest challenges that are facing us: climate change, economic resilience and future energy supply. If we want the quality of life we enjoy to be maintained for future generations, we have to develop better ways to live. By changing some of our habits and working together on community initiatives we believe we can transition to a more sustainable, satisfying and happier way of life. We welcome new members and this website provides information on our events and activities where you can get involved.

The group meets every second Tuesday of the month at Mrs Howard Memorial Hall, Norton Way South, SG6 1NX.
